PITTSBURGH — Caterpillar Inc., has chosen ANSYS engineering software to help engineers and designers worldwide collaborate on designing construction and mining equipment. The software allows for multi-physics analysis to be performed on a single engineering simulation platform.
ANSYS software helps engineers and designers across multiple disciplines work together early in the design process to better innovate product design. The software eliminates the need for manual data handling, which can cause delays and errors. Engineers and designers using the software are reported to optimize product designs for mining and construction equipment faster, reduce physical prototype testing, shorten product development cycles, and deliver better, more robust products faster.
