ATHENS, Tenn.—Mills Products, Inc., an ISO 9001-certified contract manufacturer, recently hired two employees to further enhance its quality engineering capabilities. The company has brought on Jason Watson as a quality engineer and Brady Harris, a designer with quality inspection experience, as a drafter in its engineering department.

“Quality has always been a point of emphasis here at Mills Products,” said Darrell Adcock, president of Mills Products, in a release announcing the hires. “It’s an integral part of both our engineering and production processes. We’re expecting that the attention and expertise these quality-focused team members bring to the table will help us improve our already impressive quality record.”

Mills Products (www.millsproducts.com), founded in 1945, produces hydroformed, roll formed, and tube stamped metal parts for OEMs and suppliers in the appliance and automotive industries. The company reports that it was the first metal-forming manufacturer to utilize hydroforming technology for the manufacturing of appliances.

Jason Watson has a background in quality assurance, engineering support, and manufacturing supervision. He previously worked as a quality engagement manager with Product Action of East Tennessee, where he oversaw the analysis of product production and the correction of root cause analysis for non-conforming parts.

Brady Harris has a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology from Tennessee Tech in Cookeville, Tennessee, and held positions as engineering technician and quality inspector with NIC Global in Gallatin, Tennessee. Harris grew up in Athens, Tennessee, where Mill Products headquarters is located, and is delighted to return to his hometown.
