NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I.—Bel Air Finishing Supply will hold its biannual, all-day mass finishing seminar and workshop on Thursday, November 2, 2017, at 8:30 a.m., according to an announcement by company president Steve Alviti. The presentation will have a special focus on mass finishing in the context of 3D post processing and additive manufacturing. Topics will include surface finishing, coating, metrology, media, compounds, and process technologies for all additive manufactured parts.
The seminar begins with a classroom session in the morning, followed by a luncheon, then a hands-on session with Bel Air’s mass finishing equipment in the company’s state-of-the-art Process Technology Center. Companies that waste too much time on hand deburring are welcome to come to Bel Air’s lab to learn how they can save time, reduce costs, and improve product quality, Bel Air said in a press release.
