The Reshoring Initiative (www.reshorenow.org), in conjunction with the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA), the Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT), and the National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA), is also seeking to recognize companies for successful reshoring projects. Companies that have successfully reshored parts or tooling made primarily by metal forming, fabricating, or machining are invited to apply for the Second National Metalworking Reshoring Award.

To be eligible for the award, the reshoring must have occurred between January 1, 2013, and December 31, 2018. The work must have come back from outside North America to North America. Criteria for the award include number of U.S. jobs created, dollars per year of sales reshored, product innovation, and process innovation.

Applications must be submitted by January 31, 2019, and the winner will be announced on March 7, 2019 at the MFG Meeting in Tucson, Arizona. Further information on the award is available at www.amtonline.org/reshoringaward, or by contacting Harry Moser, founder and president of the Reshoring Initiative, at harry.moser@reshorenow.org or 847-867-1144.
