LAS VEGAS—New automation interface controls and automotive in-dash displays were among the products and components introduced by SMK Electronics Corporation U.S.A. at CES 2019 in January. In addition to a new family of building automation interface controls and network components, the company rolled out new HD camera modules, high-speed connectors, and a new family of advanced OEM remote controls. SMK Electronics also exhibited new home automation interface controls and wearable electronics.

“With Smart Home revenues alone reaching $20,529M in 2018, the U.S. home automation market is forecast to grow at 16 percent annually, reaching a projected market volume of $37,262M by 2022,” said Paul Evans, president of SMK Electronics Corporation, in a statement. “Through our IP500® Alliance partnerships, SMK Electronics is well positioned, both in the U.S. and Europe markets, to provide a wide range of commercial building automation components, enabling security, energy control, and comfort sub-systems management within the same IoT Wireless Network.”
