LISLE, Ill.—Molex was selected by the editors of Autonomous Vehicle Technology (AVT) magazine as a recipient of a 2018 ACES Award. The awards honor the most innovative technologies, products, and services of the year in the areas of autonomy, connectivity, electrification, and mobility services. Molex was recognized for its Automotive Ethernet Platform, a complete vehicle ecosystem developed to support the rigorous autonomous vehicle design challenges faced by vehicle manufacturers.
Winners of the inaugural AVT ACES Awards were selected based on editor, industry expert, and reader inputs.
The Molex Automotive Ethernet Platform is said to deliver seamless multi-zone integration across multiple hardware and software systems, with the flexibility to incorporate legacy automotive protocols. The high-speed vehicle network platform allows for edge computing, network and device diagnostics, and over-the-air updates with seamless and secure communication between the vehicle and the cloud.
