NORTH BILLERICA, Mass.—Aved Electronics recently introduced new custom electromechanical box-build assemblies that are fully optimized for design and manufacturability, the manufacturer said in a release. The custom units are reported to provide a “complete connectorized and 100 percent tested solution, supplied as a single product with one SKU.”

Aved Electromechanical Box Build Assemblies are said to provide multiple benefits for OEMs, including design for manufacturability (DFM), component selection and sourcing, documentation, 3D modeling, manufacturing, and 100 percent operational testing. The assemblies feature one SKU that simplifies inventory control and can also incorporate fully connectorized front-to-back panels, the company said.

The custom electromechanical box-build assemblies offer “a complete solution with regard to back engineering, real-world sourcing experience, dock-to-stock efficiency, KanBan, and inventory management systems,” according to the manufacturer. They are said to be well-suited for OEMs, integrators of industrial controls, large scale security systems, power distribution panels, and industrial and medical robotics, and are priced according to customer requirements.

Aved Electronics (http://www.aved.com) is ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ITAR registered.
