GOWANDA, N.Y.—Gowanda Electronics, a designer and manufacturer of high performance inductors and magnetic components for RF and power applications, was awarded “Supplier of the Year for Electronic Components and Distribution” at the Collins Aerospace 2021 Avionics Supply Chain Recognition Event, held in April, according to a release from Gowanda Electronics.
Collins Aerospace recognized Gowanda Electronics for its broadened capabilities, strong engineering support, and account management accommodations. Gowanda was one of only eight companies selected—from hundreds of suppliers that provide products and services to Collins Aerospace—for supply chain recognition this year, according to the release.
“This award from Collins Aerospace—a $19 billion dollar business unit of Raytheon Technologies—highlights and rewards Gowanda for our outstanding abilities, technologies, and customer service in the development and supply of inductor components to major players in aerospace and defense markets,” said Gowanda Electronics Vice President of Sales Denis Kohlhagen, in the release. “We are grateful to be recognized for our achievements and we look forward to deepening our relationship with Collins Aerospace in the years ahead.”
