GRAND HAVEN, Mich.—ReFab Metal Fabrication recently added a new Bystronic 6k Fiber Laser to that will allow ReFab to process parts efficiently while continuing to meet the company’s and customers’ quality standards, ReFab said in a press release.

ReFab, acquired by DeWys Manufacturing in 2020, said the laser presents an opportunity for the company to target current and prospective industries for future growth. The laser provides the ability to cut parts out of sheets up to 6 feet x 12 feet, and can cut materials up to 1.125-inch thick, the company said.

“The addition of this new laser will increase our ability to process parts and keep up with our customers’ demands,” said Andrew DeWys, president of ReFab Metal Fabrication, in the release. “The ReFab team is looking forward to the growth opportunities this laser will provide,  along with continuing to improve the level of service to our customers.”
