EXETER, N.H.—Aerospace and defense industry supplier C/A Design, a specialist in high precision machining and complex aluminum dip and vacuum brazed assemblies, reported that it broke ground on its new headquarters in Exeter. The company provides quality engineering services, compact heat exchangers, CNC machined components, and electronics enclosures to aerospace and defense customers.

C/A Design, part of the Thermal Solutions Segment (TSS) of The Heico Companies, said its new operations center will host a state-of-the-art, 115,000-square-foot facility that will bring as many as 200 new jobs to the New Hampshire seacoast over the next several years. The facility will enable C/A Design to expand its aluminum brazing capabilities for the aerospace and defense industries, according to the release.

“We are excited to break ground in Exeter,” said Robert Kennedy, president of C/A Design and Heico’s Thermal Solutions Segment, in a statement. “This expansion will allow for the continued growth in manufacturing our cooling systems deployed in aircraft systems and military defense applications that enable and protect the American Warfighter.

“As part of this $35 million investment, C/A Design will be adding significant new equipment, including larger brazing ovens, dip brazing tanks, and automated chemical conversion lines,” Kennedy added. “Our investment in technology and automation helps to ensure on-time delivery of precision mission critical parts to C/A Design’s growing customer needs.”
