MCX Inc. manufactures custom wire assemblies and wiring harnesses as well as offering electronics assembly services to Silicon Valley firms working in medical, instrumentation, military, aviation, test equipment and other industries.

MCX has provided these products and services since 1981 while meeting industry and national quality standards, including ISO 9001:2015 certification. It is certified by the IPC, which is the association for companies making printed circuit boards and for electronics manufacturing service companies. Those certifications are IPC-A-610 electronics and IPC/WHMA-620 cable assemblies.

MCX manufactures wire harnesses, flat cable assemblies, round cables, jumpers, coax cables and flat flex assemblies, all built to the customer’s specifications. MCX also makes electro-mechanical assemblies including panel assembly and box builds.

“We can be cost-competitive with anyone,” said Julian Cazarez, corporation quality control manager for MCX. While MCX was founded in Silicon Valley, it now operates in Klamath Falls, Oregon. “We deliver the highest quality, all built to order in Oregon.”

Company President Pam Dutton, said MCX has maintained an open door policy with its customers since 1981 with the idea MCX cooperates with its customers as their partner, not only as a custom manufacturer. “Everything we do is unique. It is made to meet the customer’s requirements. We understand repeatability and manufacturability.”

MCX makes flat, round and coaxial cables for electronic OEMs that are used for applications in medical, military, aerospace, aircraft, broadcast and other industries. These are custom made to the customer’s specifications, including using connectors from numerous manufacturers, including 3M, AEP, Tyco/AMP, Amphenol, ITT Cannon, Molex, Johnson and Steward, among others. All cables are 100 percent tested according to the IPC/WHMA-620 quality certification standards.

Among MCX’s special capabilities the company lists cables designed for flexibility, low and high voltage, high speed, marine, harsh environments, temperature extremes and long life. MCX Inc., provides prototype, preproduction, and moderate to large volume requirement, the company’s website said.
Its round cable configurations include audio, video, data, SCSI, SR232, RS442, RS449, V.35, CAT5,6, RJ11, RJ47, serial and parallel.
