The company’s new Denver-area headquarters will serve as a hub for jet engine development, advanced manufacturing, and defense innovation.

DENVER, Colo.—Late last fall, Beehive Industries® celebrated the opening of its new 60,000-square-foot headquarters in Centennial, Colorado. The facility will serve as a hub for jet engine development, advanced manufacturing, and defense innovation, bringing high-tech jobs to the Denver region, the company said in a release on its website.

The expansion follows Beehive’s opening in May, 2024, of a 60,000-square-foot facility in Knoxville, Tennessee, that will nearly triple the number of employees at its Tennessee operation while supporting a variety of manufacturing, engineering, and machining jobs.

Community leaders, including Centennial Mayor Stephanie Piko, Representative Eliza Hamrick, and executives from the South Metro Denver Chamber, joined Beehive leadership to mark this milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, presentation, and tours of the new headquarters.

As a U.S.-based additive manufacturing (3D printing) company, Beehive Industries specializes in the design and development of jet engines, as well as parts manufacture across high technology industries and defense.

“Our mission to power American defense has never been more critical, and our Centennial facility will play a pivotal role in that journey,” said Mohammad Ehteshami, CEO of Beehive Industries, in the release. “We’re excited to leverage this space and community to fuel the future of national defense.”

The Centennial facility will focus on additive manufacturing, CNC machining, and jet engine assembly and testing. The site features two custom-built jet engine test cells and is home to approximately 65 employees, with plans to grow the team by 100 new hires over the next two years.

Centennial Mayor Stephanie Piko emphasized the significance of Beehive’s presence in the area.

“We are excited to welcome Beehive Industries to the City of Centennial’s technology and business community,” Mayor Piko said in a statement. “Beehive’s dedication to providing innovation and ingenuity in advanced manufacturing will have a local and national impact in ways that were unimaginable just a few years ago. We look forward to their success and growth in Centennial and the job opportunities for our residents.”

Colorado Representative Eliza Hamrick highlighted Beehive’s contributions to workforce development.

“New jobs and technologies are being developed every day, with Beehive Industries being at the forefront. As a teacher, I want to thank the company for its continued cultivation of robust partnerships with area schools, which helps to ensure that our students and education leaders are able to best experience and understand industrial changes in real time, which provides such a unique opportunity and lens into this ever-changing industry,” she stated in the release.

The opening of its new headquarters facility reflects Beehive’s rapid growth, as the company’s U.S. footprint increased from 40,000 square feet to nearly 170,000 square feet in just one year, the company said. That includes Beehive’s new facility in Knoxville, Tennessee, where

U.S. Rep. Tim Burchett, Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs, the Knoxville Chamber, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory joined Beehive to celebrate its opening last May.

“Since their founding in 2020, Beehive has been growing across three states and doing impressive work in the aerospace, defense, and power generation industries,” said Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs, in a release announcing the Knox County expansion. “We are grateful that they have selected Knox County and look forward to the jobs that this expansion will create.”
