CHAMPAIGN, Ill.—Raptor Power Systems, a provider of power distribution products, recently opened a new manufacturing facility in Champaign that is said to strengthen the company’s commitment to innovation, efficiency, and what the company called “industry-leading lead times in power distribution manufacturing.”
The new facility, located in the heart of Champaign’s industrial district, will serve as the company’s main hub for manufacturing power distribution units (PDUs) and breaker panels, complementing the company’s existing operations in Eatontown, New Jersey, according to a company release.
With more than 65,000 square feet of advanced manufacturing space and cutting-edge automation equipment, the expansion is expected to significantly enhance production capabilities and reduce lead times. It will also “further reinforce Raptor Power Systems’ position as a premier provider in the power distribution industry,” the company stated in the release.
“This facility is more than just an expansion; it’s a testament to our commitment to staying ahead in an evolving industry,” said Evan El Koury, president of Raptor Power Systems, in a statement. “With this new location, we are positioned to push the boundaries of innovation and operational excellence even further.”
Raptor Power Systems is a manufacturer of power distribution products that include remote power panels (RPPs), power distribution units, transformers, and custom-engineered power products. The company is ISO 9001:2015 certified and UL 508A compliant to ensure high quality standards.
The Champaign facility will focus on optimizing efficiency and customization, allowing Raptor Power Systems to meet the growing demand for PDUs and breaker panels across industries, including data centers, military applications, and large-scale industrial operations, the company said.
