Elgin, Ill.—Electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider Precision Technologies Inc., doing business as Precision PCB, recently acquired the assets of Elgin-based Microplace, Inc., according to a release from Precision Technologies.

Precision PCB describes itself as “a one-stop PCB fabrication and assembly services company with 27 years of experience providing quality, reliability and excellence in customer service.”

Microplace, an electronics manufacturing services provider established in 1996, supplies prototype and turnkey assembly to a variety of end-markets. Its acquisition is reported to enhance Precision PCB’s capabilities in assembly, strengthen its technical expertise, and expand the value it delivers to customers.

According to Precision PCB, Microplace has an experienced team that will remain in place, ensuring “continuity of service, technical excellence, and a seamless transition for existing customers.”
