TAMPA, Fla.—Sypris Electronics, LLC, a subsidiary of Sypris Solutions, Inc., recently secured follow-on contract awards from a leading global provider of subsea cable systems, the company said in a release.

Under the terms of the agreement, Sypris will manufacture and test electronic power supply modules, optical processing units, and branching units to support multiple high-reliability subsea communication networks. Production is currently underway and is expected to continue through 2026, according to the release.

The awarded contracts involve production of advanced electronic assemblies designed for use in scalable, ultra-long-haul subsea networks.
