SIMI VALLEY, Calif.—As the data center industry experiences unprecedented growth, a California-based manufacturer of IT and communications technology infrastructure products is expanding its manufacturing capabilities to meet the growing demand for data center infrastructure.
According to a release from Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI), its expanded manufacturing facility in New Bern, North Carolina, is “part of a multi-year strategy to increase capacity and support the growing demands of hyperscale, AI, and enterprise data center infrastructure.”
“This initiative reflects CPI’s long-term investment in supporting the evolving needs of the global hyperscale market,” said Ted Behrens, CEO of Chatsworth Products, in the release. “We are expanding our manufacturing capabilities to ensure that our worldwide customer base has access to the infrastructure solutions they need, when they need them, as demand for AI and high-performance computing continues to surge.”
Chatsworth Products describes itself as a manufacturer of products that “power and protect businesses’ ever-growing investment in information and communications technology for IT and industrial automation applications.” Its offerings include cabinet, containment, and industrial enclosure systems; cable management, cable runway and tray, and power management systems; and environmental monitoring, security, and grounding and bonding systems.
